Special Delivery

It was not an email I ever wanted to receive. Mum booked for her newborn session few months ahead and now at 9:14pm warning me that her baby might not make it. She was already in her third trimester.
What I couldn't do is offer comfort, but I did brace for the worse and just simply told her not to worry about her arrangements with me.

All I know is- he was easily one of the sweetest babies I've ever held. He is so cherished and loved by his brothers. I didn't learn more about his journey until at the end of the session.
Every day I'm reminded of the reasons why I photograph birth! He deserves to be celebrated for his fight as he will go through a heart surgery in upcoming months.
